Spotted at Movieworld

It says:

Allan's Anti-Eat is purely vegetable and perfectly harmless. It acts upon the food in the stomach, preventing its being converted into fat. Taken in accordance with directions, it will reduce a fat person from two to five pounds per week.

Wow. Now I'm wondering, what was in that stuff? It can't have been a tapeworm, because that's not 'vegetable'. Any theories?

  1. No idea. But those before and after pics have me sold! Where can I get some! hehe.

  2. I love those old ads. The things they were allowed to claim....

I love to hear from you! Tell me what's in your brain, your heart or your dinner plate :D.
